潘塔纳尔竞技场为2014巴西世界杯特别而建，距离库亚巴中心的共和广场3公里，坐落在国家森林公园的中心，南部就是著名的亚马逊雨林。四周植被包围，因此被誉为“绿城”。

潘塔纳尔竞技场可容纳43,500观众，由于采用了灵活可变化的建筑结构，世界杯结束后，场馆将进行缩小变形，撤除15,000坐席。带活动顶棚的理想配置，让场馆可以举办各种文化演出，展览，交易会，变成多功能场馆。

6月14日，B组的智利vs澳大利亚将是潘塔纳尔竞技场的世界杯首秀，此外还有另外3场世界杯赛事将在这里举行。

Exclusively constructed for the World Cup 2014, Arena Pantanal is a new multi-use stadium which will host four matches during football’s biggest tournament.

It is in the city of Cuiaba, located in western Brazil, and is just south of the Amazon rainforest.

Despite that, it still keeps its humid atmosphere so a warm weather is expected throughout the football spectacle.

Arena Corinthians, which is also called Arena de Sao Paolo, is chosen to host the opening game because of the sheer size of the city. The first day of the quadrennial event, the opening kick-off between Brazil and Croatia, is expected to bring over 1 billion Brazilian Real (US$426 million) to the country as more than 290,000 tourists are expected to show up in the city just in the opening day.

萨尔达多是巴西的第三大城市，巴西历史上的第一个首都，将迎来2014巴西世界杯。重新建造的新水源竞技场，不仅有球场，还有全景餐厅，足球博物馆，酒店等综合设施，球场可容纳55,000名观众。

新水源竞技场前身为Octávio Mangabeira竞技场，最初建于1951年，是个单一功能的球场，陈旧的设施已经无法适应现代足球赛事。2007年，巴西丙组联赛中，6万球迷聚集这里，观看巴伊亚对阵维拉诺瓦，巴伊亚成功晋级乙组。在高看台的球迷庆祝胜利的同时悲剧也发生了。看台坍塌，导致40名球迷丧生，球场也在当年被迫关闭。

政府下定决心，重建球场，终于在2013年竣工。新水源竞技场建成后，立刻受到巴西本土最大啤酒商 伊泰帕瓦(Itaipava)的青睐，签订了1亿美金10年的赞助合同，在2014巴西世界杯所有球场中，首个获得商业冠名赞助。

2013年联合会杯中，让世界球迷认识了新水源竞技场。除了为了世界杯服务外，新水源竞技场也将是2016夏季奥运会的赛事场地。

Officially called Complexo Esportivo Cultural Professor Octávio Mangabeira, Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova is a football stadium specifically made for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Located in Salvador, Bahia, it was originally Estádio Fonte Nova before it was reconstructed by German architects to fit more spectators and keep in times with the growing needs of football stadiums.

The original stadium was built in 1951 and had a maximum capacity of 66,080 people. It was a football-only stadium named Estádio Octávio Mangabeira, it was the home ground of Esporte Club Bahia and Esporte Clube Vitória.

As a result, the government of Bahia released a notice that the stadium be demolished and replaced with a new arena – Arena Fonte Nova.
