Switzerland’s qualifying campaign saw them ruling Group E in unbeaten fashion.

This alone makes them one of the dangerous squads to take part in the World Cup 2014.

The Swiss are a young developing roster out to carve a strong impression under the guidance of manager Ottmar Hitzfield, the 64-year-old former prolific scorer who has been mapping bench strategies for the team since 2008.

Hitzfeld has formed a team ready to unleash their best and with a midfield seen capable of matching the elite. Once in Brazil, he is expected to launch a trio of attacking midfield players that play behind the striker.

Leading the lineup is their captain Gokhan Inler and Behrami who will loom large as they support the back four with their intimidating presence.

It will indeed take a gargantuan task to achieve that but the Swiss have no fear and will play with gusto.

They went up 1-0 and were wrongly awarded a second goal, with Karim Benzema scoring from an offside position. In the final reckoning, the French prevailed 3-0 and it was “Hello Brazil’’ time for them.
